Duelist is a rare encounter that is more likely to appear at Ringo's Cabin. Rare encounters have a base 10–20% chance to replace a regular encounter.
Encounter
The Duelist approaches and gives the player a count of three to respond. Equipping a weapon or any item starts the fight. If the player stays passive, the Duelist does not attack. Attacking it afterward can still start combat.
The Duelist tries to sidestep bullets and fires coordinated shots. It uses a different revolver and different sound effects from regular gunslinger NPCs.
