Corpse Part spawn

Corpse Parts are a world event and a method of obtaining a Stand. They can begin spawning when at least three players are present in a server; the spawn chance increases with the player count, up to 25 players.

Corpse Parts now dispel negative hazards and remain visible even when their map chunks are unloaded by streaming.

Spawn

When a Corpse Part spawns, a loud sound is heard across the map and a yellow beam with a sphere of light marks its location. The beam disappears after 30 seconds. Server-wide announcements report the event state: Spawn, Taken, Lost, and Merged.

Fusing

After picking up a Corpse Part, the holder must keep it to absorb it and obtain a Stand. During this process, the holder periodically pulses yellow and can be seen through walls.

  • Each pulse starts with a 0.5% chance to merge with the Corpse Part.
  • The chance rises by another 0.5% with every pulse, to a maximum of 50%.
  • The Corpse Part can be knocked out if the body part holding it is broken or dismembered, or if the holder is knocked down.
  • Vampire movement restrictions while fusing (Batswarm, wallhops, and double jump) are currently bugged.

  • If the part is a Saint's Heart and the player has a 15 killstreak → 16% chance for D4C (Unique).
  • If the player is holding out a Lasso when they merge with the part → 100% chance for Oh Lonesome Me (Unique).
  • If the player is holding out a Gun when they merge with the part → 8% chance for Emperor (Unique).
  • If the part is a Left Arm → 6% chance for Tusk (Unique).
  • If the player has Mastered Spin → 10% chance for Ball Breaker (Unique).
  • Fallback roll (if none of the above trigger) → 95% Common / 5% Rare.

Spawn rates

The server checks for a Corpse Part spawn every 30 seconds. The chance rises by 1/5 for each player between 3 and 25, then caps.
